Norton 6db Fly Press for sale $1400. It comes complete with two counter balance balls, no table or tooling. This press is rated at 6 tons and is in great condition. No slop in the ram, threads are in great shape with no cracks in the press. This is a big press weighting 750 lbs. From the center of the ram to the back of the press measures 12". Power Hammer, Clay Spence designed "Tire Hammer". Built 3 years ago in AABA workshop at Doug's shop. This one has the heavier anvil, and has a heavy base added that gives it a bigger footprint and makes it much more stable. Just don't use it, so making it available for someone that will. $2,200. I have several 7 pound blocks of cerrobend a low tempeture melting metal (melts at 158 degrees) that is used to bend thin wall pipe or by gunsmiths for chamber castings. This is a good all around medium grade/hardness chasing and repousse pitch. Good adhesion, soft enough for repousse, firm enough for chasing work. Optical cutting cantilever made by ZINSER ( from Deutschland ) for small cutting patterns. The table have about 36"X36". (Unit is sold without the table which must be built and adjusted to the usual works and operator). This is also much convenient for shipping. The cutting unit works with oxy gas and propane.

I quit blacksmithing in 1988 when my shoulder gave out from the hammering. Finally, in December 2006, I stopped publishing Blacksmith's Gazette.
